Staff and appeals
Who the staff are, what they can do, and how to appeal.
Spotting staff
Staff ranks are deliberately plain, so if you need help you know instantly who to ask. They show after a staff member’s name in chat, in bold.
| Rank | What they do |
|---|---|
| ✧ Helper | Answers questions and gathers context. Not a moderator, and cannot punish. |
| ⛨ Moderator | The first tier that can mute, kick and ban. |
| ⚒ Admin | Server configuration, worlds and permissions. |
| ✶ Head Admin | Appoints and removes Helpers. |
| ⚝ Owner | Runs the server. |
Helpers are a great first stop for questions. For anything that needs action, any Moderator or above can step in.
How punishments work
Staff follow the same five tiers every time, from a logged warning for minor chat offences up to a permanent ban, so what happens to someone doesn’t depend on who happened to be online. Every action is recorded, so the next staff member sees the full history. See the tiers.
Appealing
If you think a decision was wrong, open a ticket in Discord. Explain what happened calmly, once. A different staff member will look at it.
Arguing in public chat is not an appeal and won’t be treated as one.
