Rules and safety
Privacy
What is logged, who can read it, and what is not kept.
Being honest about this matters more than sounding reassuring. Here is exactly what the server records, and why.
What is logged
| What | Logged | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Public chat | Yes | So reports can be checked |
| Private messages (/msg) | Yes | Harassment often happens in private |
| Commands and signs | Yes | The same reason |
| Blocks placed, broken and taken from chests | Yes | So griefing can be rolled back |
| Voice chat | No | It can’t be read back, which is why voice is optional |
Staff can read the logs, and that is how reports get resolved. Nothing else about you is collected.
What staff may not do
- Share anything about a player outside the staff team.
- Use staff tools to get an advantage in game.
- Give ranks, keys, items or Petals to anyone, including themselves.
- Act on a report that involves themselves.
Protecting yourself
You never have to share your real name, age, location, photos or socials with anyone here. Anyone asking a minor for personal information, or pressuring someone onto voice or another app, is breaking the rules. Report it.
- Your nickname and chat tag can be anything; they don’t have to be you.
- On Java, chat messages here are not tied to your Microsoft account, so they can’t be reported to Mojang out of context.
